Shoegaze San Fran band Young Prisms are back after 10 years with the lead single off their upcoming third album, “Honeydew.” Vocalist Stefanie Hodapp metaphorizes her grandmother’s favorite melon being a honeydew, despite the superior taste of a cantaloupe, to being contempt with the life we have and not that may seem better.
The band’s hiatus has breathed new life into the track, exhaling a sound of dreamy acceptance in the realities of life. “Drifter” is out March 25th via Fire Talk Records.
