wished bone is a folk-pop project based in Los Angeles via Ohio transplants. The inaugural release for Human Noise Records, cellar belly brings affirmation in the project’s Sun-augmented sound with a full band, including Brian Kupillas of The Wandering Lake. Much like pseudio recordings, there’s a shroud of poignancy that lingers with every track.

“pollinate me” is a brisk love song that brims with radiation. Euphemisms aplenty, the flirtatious twee pop number is bouyed by mid-tempo drum shuffles along with effervescent guitar melodies. Much like the other nine tracks on the record, “pollinate me” is a charming cut with its intimate quirks and overflowing brightness.
