Multi-instrumentalist Evan Sievers and vocalist Rob Bazaral make up the Madison, New Jersey-based duo, Whole Foods Kids. Not a lot of info is available at the moment, as the project spawned their first split single.

“Mutual Admiration” is a song that’s made up of self critical welts and nubby instrumentation. Bazaral is stuck in the doldrums as he echoes his doubts which seeps into his apathetic vocals. Patchy folk with subtly swirly samples gives the track an impromptu-feel in its dusty lo-fi composition.
