“For I love her like an angel, and I wanna take her home”
After several years, Liverpool romantics Trudy and The Romance are back with another love song to swoon over.
Taking a step away from the dark characters of Sandman , “Angel” opens the skies and lets the light in. The new sound coming from the musical sneer of frontman and co-producer Oliver Taylor takes on more of a country twang than the 50’s rock ‘n’ roll style we’re used to from the band. But even in the tune of Americana roots rock, “She called me stupid, she can all me anything at all” still serves the pining picture of that ol’ sweet love.
