Brother and sister, Kory and Jessie Seal, make dark and nervous music together under the umbrella of THURST. The duo’s latest mini-LP, Project Isle Demotion, shifts them in a more focused and stripped down direction. The Los Angeles-based siblings burrows into a darker headspace with elements of post-punk and moody new wave.

For Any Kind of Feeling is a gutted and nervous opener. A fortuitous emblem of the genre with darkwave melodicism with knotted krautrock rhythms, the band soundtracks the Los Angeles night. Through his pitted vocals, Seal articulates the anxiety and the fleeting emotions that proliferate modern day living.

Project Isle Demotion is available on cassette via Too Far Gone Records.
