The Velveteins sound as good as velvet feels in their latest track, “Don’t Yah Feel Better?” 

Following their recently re-released EP ‘A Hot Second with The Velveteins’, we couldn’t be happier to have a little more time with the Canadian 3-piece tuxedo. The short, but oh so sweet, track is a perfectly constructed indie-pop gem, with enough surf-pop jangle to keep your toes tapping and head bopping all the way through. Simply infectious and undeniably irresistable, The Velveteins are giving us a warm feeling this winter. The tune drops off into an open invitation for more, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come.

“Around the same time we penned the song, we were listening to a lot of traditional Indian music which inspired the guitar melody. We wanted to make the lyrics feel lighthearted and wrote them about how everything you need is around you, you just have to stop and listen for it.”

The single is coming ahead of our debut full-length ‘Slow Wave’, which we are releasing with Fierce Panda Canada in 2017.

Oh and to answer your questions boys, we really do feel a whole lot better.
