While you may have a co-worker named Phil in the accounting department, Phil From Accounting is also the name of a three-piece-project from New York City. The band, comprised of Amanda Webster, Brady Gerber, and Jamie Williams, make catchy and concise pop music that is endearing yet loud. The band released their debut EP, IF YOU’RE READING THIS, PLEASE CALL MOM in 2017.

Rife with references to perennial 80’s coming-of-age films and swaying grooves, “Be My Friend” is a simple love ballad.
