Before embarking on new music under his own name, Noah Kittinger made music under for his first project, Bedroom. We highlighted “All I Know” a few months ago and noted the change of direction in cleaner instrumentation vs his medium-fi songs for Bedroom.
The ambient “Away From The Noise” is the first cut from his forthcoming EP Bloom (released under Almost Communist Records). A metronome resembling a leaky sink anchors the minimalistic track as softly brushed arpeggios and a placid bass creates a sense of intimacy for the starry stunner. Reversed guitar lines barge in to break the steady tranquility but only seems to make the track feel more intimate.
Kittinger reminds us that isolation can be beautiful.
Bloom is out on November 18th through Almost Communist Records and is available for pre-order now.
