A few hours prior to taking the stage at Don Pedro’s, members of Mosey Jones had returned home after a long weekend. The band got little to no rest the entire weekend, with a binge marathon of Orange is the New Black on the docket rather than sleep when they got back to Brooklyn.
Don Pedro’s was their third show in as many days for their “Life Is Good” tour. The mini tour started the prior week with a stop in New Haven, Connecticut and revamped up the this past weekend for a show in Philadelphia and then Baltimore. Tonight, Mosey Jones shared the bill with folk artist Sean English, and NJ natives Frogg Party (both playing before them), with Will Wood and the Tapeworms being the headliner.
The band blazed through songs from their latest EP Spinning, as well as old favorites like “Green” and “I’m A K”. Spinning highlight, “Linda Schuyler,” was done a bit differently with a few Degrassi references during the verse from Eamon. The band topped their set off with their usual closer “Laid It On Your Girl,” which Caitlin dedicated to the 4 Debbie Downer Supreme Justices.
