Brighton boys Manuka Honeys are really sweet, and their latest single is no exception. With a stronger sense of pop sensibility than their previous tracks, but keeping with their slacker rock sound, “Let It Go” has a subtle strength and an undeniable catchiness.
Muted vocals, jangly guitars, and a fuzz drenched sound creates a sense of apathetic ethos, interrupted by emotive riffs and infectious melodies. Hearing “let it go, let it go, let it go” from Manuka Honeys is raw and genuine, convincing enough for us to actually do so.
Cereal Pairing: Honey Smacks, for their sweet, addictive sound.
