Loving is a new Canadian band, featuring Jesse and Lucas Henderson with David Parry, who recently put out their freshly minted self-titled debut. The Vancouver, British Columbia trio’s sappy slacker pop is wholly reminder of C+S favorites, Good Morning, ascertaining that same homely fuzz.

Mid-EP cut, “The Not Real Lake” ushers in daybreak with a duel between sanguine guitars alongside a chilled jazz rhythm section and internal bouts of “angry weather”. With sunlight peeking through layers of tree leaves, the track soothes as you’re sprawled out on the lawn, back soaked with morning dew.
