Hailing from an island off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador, Lo Siento is a four-piece that makes quirky garage pop. The St. John’s based group released their sophomore record, Brujas, where they continue to compose all of their songs in Spanish.

The title-track, “Brujas” is an instantaneously fun track with energy that never fizzles out. Overblown but sparky leading synths compete with frenetic energy from all directions. From lead vocalist Pepa Chan’s luminous vocals to the upbeat time keeping of drummer Allison Graves, the record itself is a source of infinite joy.
