Jab is a new project based in NOLA and New York, New York. An unknown at this point Jab only has a two-song release up on their Bandcamp, aptly titled, Two Songs.

Half of the pair, “Accent Man” is a rambunctious rambler, exuding a coolness through it’s ambiguity. The squawking vocalist resonates as a figure that’s equal parts, Mark E. Smith and Jonathan Richman, exuding a well of sardonicism. Making a brief nod to the Velvet Underground, the jangly garage rock has a rawness that epitomes an older New York.
