IZE - “Arms of Love” (self-released 2019)

Musician Robert Tornillo plays a role in various musical projects out of New Orleans (JAB, Waveland), but IZE is his main creative outlet. Since outputting a series of mini-releases and singles, IZE has returned with a few tracks.

“Arms of Love”, being the first in the series of new output, is a svelte dance waltz, filled with percolating ambiance. Missing are the salient syncopation and aggressive lead synthesizers in previous material. Tornillo builds on a steady groove with silky auto tuned vocals and verdant ambiance to concoct an an intimate dance track that summons the warm feelings that may lay dormant from within.
