Yung frontman and Danish multi-instrumentalist Mikkel Holm-Silkjær is making a name for himself as a solo artist with the upcoming release of his debut album. “The Rope,” a recent release, is a light and loose track that is infectious in melody and immersed in an emotive daze.

The culmination of three years of writing and some inspiration for Raymond Carver’s short story of the same name, Holm’s “Why Don’t You Dance” is out this Friday via PNKSLM Recordings.
