Henry Thompson or Henoheno continues to deviate from the quiet and intimate bedroom artist we’ve come to know. Glue is the second preview of the forthcoming release, tentatively titled Pipe Dreams.

Continuing the sound explored on the Remember EP, Glue displays a continuing shift towards a pop-centrist sound. Glowing with pluming synths and nonchalantly grooving drums, Thompson lumps together brash-flavored pop and bedroom minimalism for a wry synthesis. Vocals filled with apathy, Thompson shares his disdain of stagnancy and unrelenting anxieties that won’t leave him alone. Even breaking out into a fiery set of bars, Thompson feels like a modern-day pop star.
