Hey, what’s this band called?” Goodbye Honolulu!”, I eagerly, and breathlessly, said at last week’s sold out Hinds show at Bowery Ballroom. Eagerly, because someone else saw the greatness in them, and breathlessly because I didn’t stop dancing for a second during their set.

The infinite amount of electrifying energy and Canadian charm they grace the stage with is undeniable, and definitely surpasses all expectations.

Goodbye Honolulus “Codeine” is light in sound, but heavy in meaning. The anthemic catchiness of the track is drenched with pop sensibility, with a garage rock feel.
