Good Posture is the Paris-based solo outlet for Joel Randles, a former member of the post-punk band, Swimming Pool. Randles, who is originally from England, has released their initial round of music this year, only consisting of two tracks thus far. One of them is the sultry electronic banger “Italy”, though it’s a track that’s been kicking around for at least two years.

Saturated with dense electronics and a familiar aesthetic, the melty number indulges in sweet tropics. Iterating between periods of dead air with eerie ambiances to heavy flourishes of percolating guitars, the track forays into a space that’s both dance and pop. Undulating with sappy syncopation and dry percussions, the sizzling track is topped with a bit of mystique with Randles’s viscous vocals.
