Geese is a newly formed group based in Brooklyn. Barely out of high school, the five-piece sounds like they’ve got it all ready figured out, based on the few singles they’ve previewed so far. Recently signing to Partisan Records, the Geese dropped their first official single, “Disco”, a dizzying 6-minute ode to rock n’ roll.

Beginning with booming bass drums and whirring discordant guitars, “Disco” gradually morphs into an electric Television-inspired melodic romp. As the sweeping guitars duke it out, an anxious air tinges the track, always attempting to unwind but never escaping.

Geese has been gradually playing shows this summer, with the next one being at Zone One Elsewhere.
