Feral Jenny is the creative outlet for Boston, MA’s Jenny Mudarri. With help from Luke Brandfon and Rob MacNeil on drums and bass respectively, “Greatest Hits” was written and recorded sporadically between 2014 and 2015.

Given the brutal weather that hammered Boston this past winter, its not hard to imagine “You Lose” being conceived around that time. Packaged with the placid guitars and somber undertones, “You Lose” is a call-back to the detached alt-rock of the 90’s (i.e Hole). Striking a bleak and weary tone, its a far cry from the rest of the EP’s sunny demeanor. The weight of Mudarri’s jaded vocals reveal that there’s much more than the mind games she’s been subjected to, mainly those agonizing cries of “you lose” at the chorus.
