Fat Spirit is a four-piece band based in Richmond, Virginia and has teamed up with their hometown’s powerhouse label, Citrus City Records. The band features John Graham on guitars and vocals, guitarist Ian McQuary, bassist Matty Seabass, and Robert Lindstedt on drums.

Nihilist Blues is the follow up to their 2013 crispy noise-pop record, Super King. The album’s lead single, “Cave”, oozes of nostalgia and converge on the warm feeling of 90’s melancholy. Blazing with surly twang and slacked grunge, fans of Husker Du and Guided By Voices will feel right at home. Surging at the chorus, Graham and company ramps up the angst but with even more melodicism to boot.
