This would be our second time seeing Dirty Ghosts in as many days during CMJ. Much bigger than the Cake Shop, Baby’s All Right was a space that was more suited for their big sound. They had the CMJ standard 25-minute set but they managed to get in a lot of songs, mostly from their latest record Let It Pretend, and hits from their debut like Rope That Way.”

Local favorites Celestial Shore didn’t have much on their CMJ docket, being limited to the Panache showcase and a set at the Seaport the next afternoon, but they had the stage room at Baby’s packed. Much of their set consisted of tracks from their multifaceted Enter Ghost (released last year) and their debut 10x.
