When we first highlighted Body Meat, there was little info to be had besides the mystifying art-pop served up on their EP Several Heads. The high-strung tracks boast an eclectic trove of avant-garde patterns and no-wave for some panache uncanny compositions. The band is the solo project for Denver-based guitarist Christoper Taylor, who is joined by musicians Max Hipp, Michael Stein, and Luke Thinnes.

Dream Chris For Now” brings the energetic deconstructed pop we’ve gotten from the project in the past, but with a newly added tropical kick. Delivering a cornucopia of misshapen noises with a salvo of somersaulting hooks and skittish polyrhythms, agile Fingers and rhythmic finesse make for some groovy magic.
