Maura Lynch, who makes music under the moniker Blush, released her excellent debut in 2017. Last month, Lynch released an expanded version that features early versions of nearly all of the tracks on the self-titled debut. Lynch also dropped a split-single featuring tracks ″Forever Is A Long Time″ and ”What Do I Have To Do?”. Unclear whether they are a preview of her next full-length or older songs that were left off the debut.

An earnest track on the uncertain expiration date of relationships, “Forever Is A Long Time” candidly confronts the future. Radiant with earthy twang, Lynch ponders the likelihood of fuck ups with other variable in the equation. Even with looming feeling of things not working out, Lynch frames it with lucidity.
