Beeef is a quartet from Allston, Massachusetts and released their debut record earlier in the year with the cheekily titled LP, A Beeef CD.

Airplanes takes the record in a stratospheric step on an otherwise bright sounding record. Dubbing a fluffy baroque live track, the track evokes a heavy dosage of Brit-Pop. Shimmery guitars and steady rhythms, the band drifts to the same heights of the track’s namesake. Despite the band sobering up for a short while they still manage to work in their sense of humor, like noting that every song about airplanes has the spelling aeroplane’.
