Brilliant Beast are a four-piece from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band is led by siblings Hannah and Jordan Porter, with bassist Ronnie Lee and drummer Eric Whalen. The four have been a band since 2011 but has origins back to 2005 when Jordan Porter and Walen were college roommates.

The galactic sprawler, “Star Of” closes out their latest EP, Jelly. Melty with bleary guitars, the reverb laced track is effusive with a quaint aura. Rippled vibrato and twitchy hooks, the track reaches back a few decades to familiar shoegaze territory. With its swirling wall of haze and sub-layer of pop, “Star Of” is the ideal song for your interstellar dream(s).
